Poster + Blogger Meet
Hey all,
First of all, here is one of the posters that I have made for an event “Algorithm Writing”, taking place in our college’s annual fest. The seniors really loved it!!
And now the other topic: The second Delhi Blogger meet. The last one was awesome!! But unfortunately I wont be able to attend this one due to 1) Too far away 2) Have to go somewhere else that day 3) EXAMS!!!!
Anyways, get the details by clicking this image:
So, will you be attending this meet? And do tell me how you like the poster. I am also making posters for 2 more events, so ideas are most welcome. One event is a “Tech Quiz”, other is a kind of “Junkyard Wars”, but at a smaller and more logical/algorithmic level.
I have the grunge effect in mind for the second one.
Carrera Makes a Splash
Here is another one of those notorious car+grunge+rain wallpapers that I just made on another special request… (Keep ‘em coming!!)
Here is the wonderful Carrera GT from the NFS: Most Wanted game.
Sorry, this one is in one resolution (1280×800) only. You can get a similar wallpaper of Porsche Cayman GT2 (also from NFS: Most Wanted).
The request was to make a wallpaper of Carrera GT, but exactly like the Porsche one. Now I didn’t remember how I had made the first one. So it took me about half an hour to perfect it. Had to make the rain and grunge brushes from scratch. The reflection was also kinda buggy. But sorted that out!! Now I have saved its PSD.

Holi Greetings!!
Hello readers!!
Wishing all of you a very happy holi!! (Even the ones who don’t know what it is)
Here is a wallpaper/greeting for you all… Send it to all your friends/family whom you want to wish!! (Do see this pic in full size for the proper 3D effect)
For those of you who have no idea about Holi, here is a heads-up from wiki:
Holi , called the Festival of Colours, is a popular Hindu spring festival observed in India, Suriname, Guyana, Trinidad, the UK and Nepal.
On the first day, burning of the demoness Holika, Hiranyakashipu’s sister, in huge bonfires at night. It is called Kama dahanam in Andhra Pradesh.
On the second day, known as Dhulheti, people spend the day throwing coloured powder and water at each other. The spring season, during which the weather changes, is believed to cause viral fever and cold. Thus, the playful throwing of the coloured powders has a medicinal significance: the colours are traditionally made of Neem, Kumkum, Haldi, Bilva, and other medicinal herbs prescribed by Āyurvedic doctors. A special drink called thandai is prepared, sometimes containing bhang (Cannabis sativa).

The point is that I have designed and am maintaining the website for the robotics events.
Check out the header I made for it:
You can see the rest of the site here.
If you are a student in a college in Delhi/NCR, please do check out all the awesome competitions. Register here!!
BlogCamp Delhi 2
Hi all,
Delhi is finally hosting its second Blog Camp!! What is it? Let me quote from the site.
BlogCamp Delhi 2 is proposed to be a camp where we get together and discuss/rant/brain-storm/share opinions about about blogging technologies & trends, micro blogging, photo-blogging, video blogging, social media, … everything about the world of blogs & new media that interests us. This is the second edition of BlogCamp in Delhi.
When: Saturday, March 7, 2009
Where: Indian Institute of Mass Communication, JNU new campus, Aruna Asif Ali Marg, New Delhi – 110067
The last blogger-meet I attended was a huge success (for me, personally, atleast). There was so much that I learnt and so many people that I met. I have been in contact with many of those people. I did freelance design jobs for a few too.
Well, now I come to the point.
I have designed the banner, poster and badges for this event. The organizers were quite specific with what they like and what they don’t, so some of my designs were scrapped. But finally got one that everyone liked!! Download the images and show off to the world that you support bloggers!!
Here are some of the earlier attempts [PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE IMAGES ANYWHERE. USE THE 2 ABOVE.]
